In partnership with CareerLinks, this week we began implementing a series of workshops across five schools (Rutherford High, Muswellbrook High, St Josephs Aberdeen, Dungog High, Maitland Grossman), focused on showcasing career opportunities within the renewable energy sector. Each workshop will involve 30 female students in an engaging, hands-on experience designed to build skills and inspire interest in renewable energy careers.

Students will collaborate to build a wind turbine, generate energy, charge a battery, and produce light. Industry role models and mentors will be present throughout the sessions, providing guidance during activities and sharing insights into their own career pathways to help bridge classroom learning with real-world opportunities.
