RDA Hunter is pleased to support the University of Newcastle as it keeps pace with the ‘Future Made in Australia’ agenda via rapid expansion of the Newcastle Institute for Energy and Resources (NIER).

The $16M New Energy Skills Hub is shovel ready and will sit alongside a further $20.7M Future Industries Facility – offering space for industry co-location at the University’s Callaghan campus.

Both the Energy Skills Hub and Future Industries Facility will be operational in 2027.

This project enables SMEs to access unique facilities as well as a talent pool of industry academics and exceptional students to rapidly progress new technologies for a sustainable future. It brings schools and community to the forefront of the skills and technologies that will power change. And, it is being delivered in collaboration with range of regional stakeholders.
