ME Program
The ME Program aims to build a STEM-skilled, homegrown, industry-aware workforce. It encourages students to study science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects and to remain in the Hunter region to pursue their careers.
It provides students with contextualised technical and enterprise skills, in-industry experiences, and pathways to real jobs, while providing industry with a pool of local, qualified and motivated people from which to build its workforce.
The ME Program also works to diversify the cohort studying STEM and pursuing local defence industry jobs.
